Meet the Village Home Health and Hospice Leadership team!

Valerie Landell

Valerie Landell, Chief Executive Officer of Village Home Health and Hospice. Valerie is a 30+ year veteran of Home Health and Hospice. Valerie began her home health journey in Middletown, Ohio where she developed the first Behavioral Health Home Health program in the region. As Behavioral Health home health became an increased need she began consulting with other agencies throughout the country to develop similar programs. After several years, Valerie decided to reduce her travel and held Executive Leadership roles for Home Health and Hospice organizations. In those roles she grew the programs, initiated the most successful and long standing telehealth program and was involved in several acquisitions and sales of home health agencies.

Valerie has provided education and public speaking related to Home Health care both locally and throughout the United States. Valerie is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, Class 34 and respected non-profit Leader

Danielle Sears

Danielle is the Business Development Manager for Village Home Health and Hospice where Danielle leads the Marketing/Sales team where she directs marketing and sales strategies and oversees the bereavement and volunteer program.

Danielle has successfully completed the Certified Executive for Health Care at Home (CEHCH) certification program offered through the Ohio Health Care Association and the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice and has passed the NAB (National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards) Home and Community Based Services Examination to earn the CEHCH designation. Danielle is also enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University where she is working towards her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration.

Her professional interest is to focus on building relationships with the community and providing education about the benefits of Home Health and Hospice, her current project is building up the partnership with We Honor Veterans to help build professional and organizational capacity to provide quality care for Veterans and strengthen partnerships with the VA and Veteran organizations.

Danielle is a Cincinnati native and also is where she is raising her two beautiful red headed girls with her husband Randy. In addition, she serves as her daughter's Girl Scout Troop leader, is an avid PTO member and volunteers for Down Syndrome Association of Cincinnati, SAAP and Children's Hospital.

Margaret Spradling

Margaret Spradling is the billing manager for Village Home Health and Hospice and also manages On Call for Home Health. She started over 30 years ago as an On Call Field Staff Supervisor eventually going on to schedule for Skilled, Waiver and Private services along with billing. She has worked with community services, Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances over the years and is passionate about customer service and believes in supporting both office staff and field staff in order to deliver the excellent services our patients deserve, her door is always open. She over sees all Home Health and Hospice billing and reaches out personally to answer questions for patients and staff about any concerns they may have while assisting with all billing. In the past she was an avid Racquet Ball player, instructor and also a member of a travelling women's Volley Ball team. She has two children, three grandchildren and a mini farm that keeps her busy in her spare time.

Sherry Whisenant

Sherry is the director of hospice for village home health and hospice. She has been in the medical field for thirty seven years .She started out as an aide at the age of eighteen and moved up the ranks to director. As the Director of Hospice, Sherry and her team are devoted to providing quality physical, psychosocial and spiritual support to hospice patients and families.

Even though she currently has a leadership role, she still enjoys going on patient visits and helping out her team whenever needed. Sherry is very passionate about providing the best care possible for terminally ill patients and their families.

Sherry is a single mother. She has one daughter, who is working her way through school to become a veterinarian. They love animals and together have a dog, rabbit, bearded dragon and a turtle.

Cindy Robinson

Cindy graduated from The Ohio State University in 1993. She started her career in Cooperstown, NY as a CCU nurse at Bassett Hospital. Since living in Cincinnati, she has been an ADON and DON in several skilled nursing facilities and was the DON for an Independent & Assisted Living Community from ground breaking to the arrival of their first resident and beyond. She took some time off after the birth of her third child. When she decided to return, it was the home healthcare field that offered her the flexibility she needed. She has been in home health ever since.

As the Director of Clinical Services at Village Home health & Hospice, she works closely with her staff of nurses, therapists and office personnel to ensure they have the support they need both personally and professionally. With this internal support, they are then able to go out in the community and provide excellent care to their patients and families!

Cindy is the proud mother of 3. In addition to being an avid Buckeye supporter, she is a huge fan of soccer. Her oldest son is a professional goalkeeper who has played for several pro clubs, including the New York Cosmos! Her only daughter just graduated from the University of Miami, FL and will be starting grad school at NYU this fall. Her youngest son recently graduated from Cincinnati LaSalle High School.
